Sited between the magnificent 15th century Tattersall Castle and RAF Conningsby, Barnes Wallace Academy is rightly proud of the local heritage and strives hard to be the heart beat of the community.
As part of the David Ross Education Trust, every effort is made to provide a supportive and challenging environment for all those that attend.
Providing a safe and secure access for those less able is important also and many years ago a lift was installed to the upper floor to cater for those unable to use the staircase. However, when the existing hydraulic lift started to be unreliable it was decided to approach Platform Lift specialist, Ability Lifts Ltd, to advise on a state of the art replacement.
Optimum 100 was selected as the small footprint would allow the lift to be fitted into the same space with minimal builder’s work being required.
